SUNNY DAY WITH ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE…

Conditions were near perfect on top of Great Blue Hill today.
We had light and variable wind from the west that increased slightly
in the late morning/early afternoon hours.

Pressure has been dropping throughout the day today. As pressure
dropped cloud cover increased but the sun still shone brightly for
most of the day through the thin cirrus clouds. The temperature rose
to an above average and pleasant high so far of 48 degrees.

With dry air in the region visibility has been excellent with views
of 75-80 miles all day.

The high so far today is 48F, which is 6 degrees above the normal
maximum of 42F. The low since midnight is 27F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal low of 25F.
