WARMER STILL WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND A
BALMY SOUTHERLY BREEZE….
Today is again warmer than normal, with skies clouding
over as the day went on. We started off with some fog
in the morning that burned off rather quickly. We were
left with 30 miles of visibility due to a thick layer of
haze.
Wind has picked up since this morning, coming in from the
south at around 18 mph. The highest gust seen so far today
is around 32 mph. Today feels much more like summer with
dew points in the low 60’s.
The high so far today is 75F, which is 21 degrees above
the normal maximum of 54F. The low since midnight is 57F,
which is 20 degrees above the normal low of 37F. These
temperatures are normal for late August!
