A NICE DAY WITH A COOL EASTERLY BREEZE….

We observed a great 80 miles of visibility today after
starting with 35 miles this morning due to fog. Conditions
were partly cloudy for most of the day, and wind was
light and easterly off the water.

That’s all of the rain for this month so far, giving us a
1.69 inch surplus in comparison to the running total normal
rainfall. The yearly total is boosted to 25.98 inches, bringing
the deficit down to 9.34 inches. The drought monitor was updated
today, showing very few areas north of Boston remaining within
the “Extreme Drought” designation.

The high so far today is 70F, which is 6 degrees below the
normal maximum of 76F. The low since midnight is 56F, which is
2 degrees below the normal minimum of 58F.
