AN AMAZING FAIR WEATHER DAY MORE COMMON IN SEPTEMBER….

Today was cooler with an excellent visibility of 85 miles.
Wind was on the lighter side, shifting from north to east
for a cool breeze off the ocean. Dew points refused to make
it out of the low 50’s!

Definitely a great day for a hike up to the summit! Gift shop
is open outside until 4 P.M.

Most of the Boston Area is in an extreme drought, according to
the newly updated drought monitor. Total rain deficit on the
year is 10.69 inches.

The high so far today is 75F, which is 6 degrees below the normal
maximum of 81F. The low since midnight is 58F, which is 5 degrees
above the normal minimum of 63F.
