WARMING UP ON THE SUMMIT AFTER SOME OVERNIGHT RAINFALL….
Today started with a fog that dissipated around noon,
leaving us with 30 miles of visibility at the 1 P.M.
observation. This followed some rainfall overnight that
left only 0.08 inches in the gauge at 7 A.M.
Wind was on the lighter side today, but mainly came in
from the southwest at less than 10 mph.
Since the 10 A.M. observation, the temperature climbed
more than 10 degrees!
The high so far today is 77F, which is 9 degrees above the
normal maximum of 68F. The low since midnight is 57F, which
is 7 degrees above the normal minimum of 50F.
