MOSTLY CLOUDY AND CHILLY WITH SOME WINTRY PRECIP
IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS….
We observed mostly cloudy conditions today after
0.41 inches of rain fell overnight. We had a chilly
northwesterly wind with an average speed of 15 mph
and a max gust so far today of almost 30 mph.
Visibility was 65 miles on average. Showers of ice
pellets were observed to start right before the
1 P.M. observation. They left only a trace.
Since we’re on the topic of precipitation, we are still
an inch under normal this month and almost 2 inches under
normal for rainfall this year.
Snowfall deficit this month is 2.3 inches, with the
seasonal total still exceeding the normal amount by
1.5 inches.
The high so far today is 47F, which is 10 degrees below the
normal maximum of 57F. The low since midnight is 36F, which
is 3 degrees below the normal minimum of 39F.
