LIGHT SNOW THIS MORNING WITH GREAT VIEWS TO THE
NORTHWEST IN THE AFTERNOON….
Today started off with some light snow that amounted to 0.2 inches
as the morning went on. Only a trace of liquid was left in the
gauge, as the snow was very light and fluffy. Visibility
increased significantly after the snow, with 80 miles being
seen to the NW at the 1 P.M. observation. Ocean effect snow
was still seen to the northeast this afternoon, limiting
visibility that way to 25 miles.
Wind was northerly with sustained speeds of 10 mph at most
with any gusts staying under 20 mph.
The high so far today is 23F, this is 11 degrees below the normal
high of 34F. The low since midnight is 9F, which is 11 degrees
below the normal low of 17F.
