We’re observing quite the temperature jump and pressure fall as
the day goes on. Temperature increased 23 degrees since this
morning due to sunshine and significant warm air advection from
the south. Pressure fell six millibars since the 7 A.M. observation.
Frequent gusts over 40 mph have been occurring today with a peak
gust so far measured at 53 mph. The average speed for the day
thus far is around 25 mph from the south.
Visibility is decent at 55 miles.
The high so far today is 44F which occurred back at midnight,
this is 10 degrees above the normal high of 34F. The low since
midnight is 16F, which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 18F.
