MILDER WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE AND LIGHTER WIND….
We observed a limited visibility of 30 miles today due to a thicker
layer of haze. Skies were mostly cloudy, but sunshine was still
abundant since the layer was translucent. A trace of snow remains
on the ground, and Houghton’s and Ponkapoag remain covered in
ice throughout the day. This is a surprise considering how mild
the weather has become.
Wind was around 10 mph on average after seeing yesterday’s max
gust clock in at 43 mph!
The high so far today is 45F, which is 10 degrees above the normal
high of 35F. The low since midnight is 28F, which is 10 degrees above
the normal low of 18F.
