LIGHT SNOW OVERNIGHT TOTALS 2.9 INS, SEASONAL
SNOWFALL NOW 140.4 INCHES – 4 INCHES FROM ALL TIME RECORD

Snow which began to fall lightly after yesterday afternoon’s
1:00 PM EST observation continued through the overnight hours
before ending after 1:00 AM EST this morning. A total of
2.9 inches were recorded, adding to our seasonal total which
now stands at 140.4 inches, just 4.0 inches from the all time
record set in the 1995-1996 season.

Overcast skies were slow to clear this morning, with relatively
poor visibility through the 10:00 AM EST observation at just
30 miles. Winds were on the increase as well, and by the 1:00
PM EST observation the peak gust for the day had been recorded
at 39 MPH W @ 1:17 PM EST with a maximum temperature of 34F
so far.
