WE HAVE A NORMAL LOW OF 44F THIS MORNING
The thermometer hit 70 degrees early this afternoon
at 1:02 P.M. EDT for the first time this year. This
is the latest first occurrence of 70F since 1975
when it first occurred quite a bit later than today’s
date on May 11. (see listing below)
So, after a normally cold start of 44F this morning
temperatures have soared well above the normal high
for this date of 63 degrees under bright sunshine
and a second consecutive day of light winds.
