DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2016
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES, GUSTING WINDS, AND DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE
Yesterday’s chilly and windy weather continues today. Gusty winds made
already chilly temps feel cooler than they actually were. Still out of
the WNW-NW, winds have been gusting near 30 MPH through the early
afternoon but are expected to slow as low pressure moves farther away
and a high pressure system moves into the region.
The overnight low reached a new monthly minimum of 32F this morning.
Temps rose to a max of 47F by 1:00PM EST, still about 10F below normal.
Dew points remained in the mid-20s all day.
