WINDY, VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES

The low pressure system that came to Blue Hill today left us with 0.02 ins.
of rain early on and very blustery, warm conditions. Winds were out of the
SW and the peak gust so far for the day was 51 mph at 5:37 A.M. EST.
Temperatures yesterday continued to warm overnight and a high of 56F was
reached just before the 7:00 A.M. observation. The record for today’s high
is 57F, set in 1895 and 1949, but today’s max is not expected to break the
record as temperatures have begun to slowly decrease.
