COASTAL STORM BRINGS SNOW, SLEET, AND RAIN TO BLUE HILL

Yesterday’s on and off light snow turned to sleet last
evening yielding 0.3 inches of frozen precip.  Liquid
precip. measured 1.52 inches from yesterday at 7:00AM to
today at 7:00AM.  An additional 0.22 inches fell between
7:00AM and 1:00PM today.

Winds were consistently gusting over 50 MPH all morning
but had begun to decrease slightly by early afternoon.
The peak gust for the day so far has been 62 MPH NE at
3:43AM.

Fog was beginning to clear by the 1:00PM observation.
Visibility remained at just 1/4 mile during the morning
obs and improved to 3 miles at 1:00PM.
