FOG GRADUALLY CLEARS FROM SUMMIT
Rain continued to fall into yesterday evening, turning into
light drizzle shortly before midnight. Precip. measured
1.73 in. at 7:00AM EST this morning for the previous 24 hours.
This brings the monthly total to 3.35 in. and the monthly
departure to 0.36 in. above normal. Only a trace has fallen
since 7:00AM.
Yesterday’s max. temperature of 62F tied the record for the
low maximum temperature. The record was originally set in
1904 and tied again in 1964. Temperatures have remained quite
cool so far today with a max. of only 58F by the 1:00PM ob.
