BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
WEDNESDAY, JULY 26, 2017
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

CLEAR START TO DAY, TEMPS REBOUND TO UPPER 70s

Skies were completely clear at the 7:00AM EST observation
and remained clear with just few cumulus through the morning.
Diurnal cumulus had become scattered by early afternoon.
Clear conditions allowed for visibility to return 70 miles
today with looming mountains during the 7:00AM ob.

Dew points were in the upper 50s in the morning but fell into
the lower 50s in the afternoon.  Winds have been light and
quite variable since 7:00AM.  Temperatures had reached 77F by
1:00PM and are expected to rise slightly higher due to the
partly sunny skies.  The below average temperatures over the
past few days have nearly erased the above normal departure
for the month. July 2017 now measures only 6F above normal
through July 25.
