HIGH PRESSURE BRINGS DRY AND SEASONABLE
AIR TO GREAT BLUE HILL…
Maximum temperatures continue to be close to
the daily normal with a high of 42F. This is
-2 degrees from the normal of 44F. So far today
we have had a high of 43F which is also the daily
normal. Yesterday and overnight we had had
minimum temperatures of 32F. Which is 5 degrees
above the normal of 27F.
With high pressure today the northern winds have
remained light and variable. We have also
observed clear skies with a few cumulus clouds in
the morning increasing to scattered cirrus throughout
the day. A distant haze kept visibility down to
35 miles at 1:00 P.M.
This fall (Sept-Nov) was the warmest in BHO history
with a corrected 24-hour mean temperature of
55.3F. We also observed the warmest October on
record during this fall.
