HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

SIGNIFICANT NORTHWESTERLY WINDS BRING UNSEASONABLY
COLD AIR TO THE SUMMIT, SETS NEW DAILY MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE RECORD FOR BOTH THE CALENDAR DAY AND
THE HOLIDAY….

Clear conditions and strong winds from the northwest
brought the overnight low down to 9.2F, setting a
new daily minimum temperature record.

BHO Temperature Records for November 22, deg F (1885-2018):

Low Max: 26 in 1972, 2008
Low Min: 12 in 1987 —–> 9 in 2018

Blue Hill Observatory also set a record for the lowest
temperature reached on a Thanksgiving Day. Statistics
are below with Max/Min/Mean temperatures, respectively:
