CLOUDY CONDITIONS FOLLOWING SOME ICING THIS MORNING….

Overnight rainfall was 0.08 inches, becoming ice pellets
and light glaze ice between 5 and 6 A.M. A trace of snowfall
was measured as a result. Clouds continue to dominate the sky,
but some breaks in the overcast were seen at the 1 P.M.
observation. Ponkapoag and Houghton’s Pond are half-covered
with ice, as the ski area struggles to keep its trails
covered in snow. Wind is northerly, being light for the
majority of the day. The max gust so far today is around
20 mph.

The high so far today is 37F, 2 degrees above the normal high
of 35F. The low since midnight 33F, 16 degrees above the normal
low of 17F.
