HAZY, HOT, AND HUMID WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….

Hot and humid weather continues on what is day 2 of
a likely heat wave early this week. Sunshine mixed
with cumulus clouds has been the theme today. Dew
point has dropped a bit from the upper 60s to the
mid 60s, however it’s still rather humid out there.

Hazy air continues to limit visibility, which has
only improved to around 35 miles this afternoon.

Not much wind is blowing out there today either
with a peak gust so far of only 20 mph.

The rainfall deficit continues to grow, with the
month now 1.08 inches below normal, and the year
dropping to 3.00 inches below normal.

The high so far today is 92F, which is 12 degrees
above the daily normal high of 80F. The low since
midnight is 69F, which is 6 degrees above the daily
normal low of 63F.
