ANOTHER FALL-LIKE DAY WITH A PASSING
THUNDERSTORM AFTER NOONTIME….
We observed a good visibility of 75 miles this
morning, decreasing to a mile before 1 P.M.
Rainfall began around 12:45, ending 40 minutes
to an hour later. During that time, thunder could
be heard to the west, but not seen due to the fog.
Skies were mostly cloudy early, becoming completely
overcast by noon. Pressure has been on a steady fall,
of almost 4 millibars in a six hour period. Wind was
light and southwesterly, yet calm following the frontal
passage.
The high so far today is 68F, which is 10 degrees below
the daily normal maximum of 78F. The low since midnight
is 57F, 3 degrees below the average of 60F.
