BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

WARMER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES CONTINUE DESPITE A
MAINLY CLOUDY SKY TODAY…

There was a brief period of sun this morning sandwiched
between cloudy stretches. Despite all the cloud cover,
temperatures have been able to reach the mid to upper
60s. With light winds, it’s making for a delightful
day to be outdoors.

A cold front is approaching the area however and virga
could be seen off to the west and northwest at the 1 P.M.
observation. This band of “rainfall” has since dried
up before reaching the Observatory, however it is the
leading edge of a much cooler air mass that will
overspread the region tonight and tomorrow.

The high so far today is 68F, 10 degrees above the daily
normal minimum of 58F. The low since midnight is 53F, 13
degrees above the normal low of 40F.
