Today we observed a great visibility of 80 miles under
overcast skies in the afternoon hours. Wind was significant
today, reaching a little over 30 mph by the 1 P.M. observation.
Wind is southwesterly at an average of 15 mph. With the rain
that happened a couple days ago (storm total of 1.69 inches),
we are at an annual rain deficit of only 1.68 inches at this
point, bringing us almost completely out of drought status.
The high so far today is 41F, 3 degrees below the daily
normal high of 44F. The low since midnight is 32F, 4 degrees
above the normal low of 28F.
