COMFORTABLY DRY WEATHER CONTINUES WITH EXCELLENT VISIBILITY….

It’s been another very pleasant day here on the summit
of Blue Hill with abundant sunshine mixing with some
decorative cumulus clouds.

With dew points in the upper 40s and low 50s, the air
just feels wonderful. Definitely a bonus for late June.
This dry air is allowing for excellent visibility again
today. 80 miles has been the theme since yesterday!

Winds started off very light this morning, but has since
picked up a bit this afternoon. High pressure was crested
just to the east-northeast of the region this morning, as
such a light easterly wind was observed this morning.
However, as the high slowly pushes to the east, the flow
has gradually veered around to the south-southeast and
has been increasing. These are the early signs of big
changes to come in terms of warmer temperatures and higher
humidity arriving tomorrow.

The high temperature so far today is 76F, this is 2 degrees
below the normal maximum of 78F. The low temperature so
far today is 58F, which is 2 degrees below the normal
minimum of 60F.
