CHILLY AND RAW ONSHORE FLOW WITH FOG AND DEVELOPING LIGHT RAIN…
We have been stuck in the clouds all day with visibility no more
than 1/16th of a mile. Light drizzle early this morning tapered off
for a time before light rain began moving into the area by the mid
to late morning hours.
Temperatures have spent much of the day in the 30s upto around
noon-time, when the mercury finally reached 40 degrees. Either way,
with the dampness and a light wind off the ocean, it’s a very raw
feel out there today.
Winds have been light for the most part with the onshore flow
averaging only around 6mph. The peak gust for the day so far is
around 16mph, occurring just before 5am this morning.
The maximum temperature so far today is 41F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 41F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 36F degrees, which is 12 degrees above the normal low
of 24F.
