CLOUDS FILTER IN FROM THE SOUTH,
NEEDED RAIN POTENTIALLY ON THE WAY
Only 0.26 inches of precipitation has been recorded for
the month of September with less than one week left in the month.
The driest September on record of 0.45 inches, back in 1914, may
be in jeopardy depending on what rain may fall tomorrow.
Cirrostratus that was distant to the SE-SW at the 7:00 AM EST
observation were quick to filter in along with low level cumulus
and thin fog.
By the 1:00 PM EST observation low cumulus and increasing
cirrostratus/cirrus invading from the south were in place
with a visibility of 40 miles in all directions. A maximum of
69F had been reached.
