SEASONAL TEMPS REMAIN AS WINDS EASE OVERNIGHT

Cold air that was ushered into the region earlier this week
has largely remained in place with three consecutive days of
slightly colder than normal temperatures from Monday through
Wednesday this week. Yesterday temperatures reached a maximum
of 30F from 2:00 to 3:00 PM EST. Winds that were gusting to a
maximum of 46 MPH yesterday have relax this morning with a
steady but light flow from the WNW-NW.

By today’s 1:00 PM EST observation, temperatures had risen from
this morning’s minimum reading of 16F to a maximum so far of
30F. Skies were nearly cloudy free with excellent visibility of
80 miles in all directions.
