MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
OVERCAST WITH LIMITED VISIBILITY, AND
SLIGHTLY ON THE WARMER SIDE….
Today was overcast, with either a smoke layer or haze
limiting visibility to 50 miles at 1 P.M. Could this
be smoke from the wildfires on the west coast? Wind
is coming in from the south, but very light. An average
speed of 5 mph and a max gust of 11 mph have been seen
so far.
We could really use some rainfall as our precipitation
deficit starts to mount. The departure for the year
is getting close to 3 inches again, sitting at -2.95
inches as of this morning.
The high so far today is 79F, 5 degrees above the daily
normal max of 74F. The low since midnight is 62F, which is
5 degrees above the normal low of 57F.
