RINSE AND REPEAT, DRY SPELL CONTINUES WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE….

With only 0.04″ of rain for the month to date (we’re now 1/3rd of
the way through the month), we are now running a 1.15″ deficit in
the rainfall department. There is currently no rain in sight
over the next week, so this dry spell looks to continue. It will
be interesting to see what the Drought Monitor shows tomorrow
morning for the region.

At any rate, today is yet another great weather day with plenty
of sunshine and near seasonal temperatures. I know, these
discussions have become broken records lately, it kind of feels
like San Diego.

Temperatures have reached the mid-upper 70s early this afternoon
with dew point values that are mainly holding in the 40s.

Winds are quite light, and at times variable today. It was mainly
out of the northeast to east earlier when it would puff up a bit,
but has recently shifted to the south. The average speed for the
day so far is only around 7mph. The peak gust so far for the day
is only 15mph, which occurred before 1am this morning.

Visibility has once again been excellent with the view holding at
around 70 miles most of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 76F, which is 1 degree
above the normal high of 75F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 53F, which is 4 degrees below the normal low of 57F.
