WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2022
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

DECENT SLUG OF RAIN OVERNIGHT, STILL DREARY AND COOL TODAY….
Periods of rain moved through the region overnight into this
morning. 1.06″ of rain was measured here on the hill through
the 7 A.M. observation this morning. Light rain and drizzle
has continued since with an additional 0.07″ falling through
the 1 P.M. observation.
Today is yet another day without any sunshine. As a matter of
fact we’ve only seen a total of 91 minutes of sunshine so far
for October! This will finally change starting tomorrow!
Temperatures have been holding in the low/mid 50s once again
thanks to the clouds and drizzle.
The wind is not as strong today as the past few days. The
average speed for the day so far is around 14mph. The peak
gust was early this morning registering at 32mph!
Visibility has of course been limited all day so far due to
being in the clouds, generally a 1/2 mile or less.
The high so far today is 55F, which is 10 degrees below the
normal maximum of 65F. The low since midnight is 52F, which is
4 degrees above the normal minimum of 48F.
