ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2022
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0610E
SUNSET: 1645E
OVERCAST WITH DENSE FOG, AND PERIODS OF RAIN….
We’ve been stuck in the clouds all day here on the hill with
visibility no more than 1/2 of a mile the entire day. Off and
on rainfall has also been occurring. We received 0.09 inches
of rain overnight with an additional 0.38 inches falling after
the 7 A.M. observation.
Temperatures have managed to reach the low to mid 60s despite
the dense fog. This means that the dew point has also risen
into the low to mid 60s. This is quite muggy for this time of
year.
The wind has been generally light today, out of the
easterly direction. The average speed thus far for the day is
only around 7 mph.
The high so far today is 63F, which is 6 degrees above the
normal maximum of 57F. The low since midnight is 58F, which
is 18 degrees above the normal low of 40F.
