MOSTLY CLOUDY AND SOME RAIN WITH THE
APPROACHING FRONT….
Today we observed mostly cloudy skies with limited visibility due
to haze and distant afternoon rainfall. The lowest visibility of
ten miles was seen towards Boston, which encountered showers
around the 1 P.M. observation. The highest visibility of 45 miles
was seen at 10 A.M. The observatory encountered some light rain
between 10 and 11 A.M., leaving only a trace in the gauge. Wind
has shifted from SW-NE, with a max gust of 28 mph following the
frontal passage.
The high so far today is 75F, which is 10 degrees above
the normal high of 65F. The low this morning was 68F, which
is 20 degrees above the normal low of 48F.
