DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2019
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
SEASONAL WEATHER WITH INCREASING CLOUDS AND
DECENT VISIBILITY….
Today we observed almost clear skies this morning, though
cloud cover increased to overcast by noontime. This is
due to the approaching low pressure center off the coast.
Wind remained southeasterly, and steady around 10 mph.
Visibility was a decent 70 miles throughout the day,
however decreasing slightly after the 1 P.M. observation.
The weather remained dry, with dew points in the upper
30’s and low 40’s. Pressure has been steadily dropping,
by more than 4 millibars between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M.
The high so far today is 61F, a degree above the daily
normal maximum of 60F. The low since midnight is 45F,
2 degrees above the normal minimum of 43F.
