MAINLY SUNNY AND COOL WITH A BRISK WIND AND EXCELLENT VISIBILITY….

Today has been a really decent day despite the gusty wind and
cool temperatures. Sunshine has been the theme all day with only
some stratocumulus clouds passing by at times.

Temperatures are much cooler today with readings starting the
day in the upper 40s and only recovering to the low 60s. This is
a bit below normal for the start of October. Dew point values
have been in the mid 40s all day, indicative of a refreshing
air mass over the region.

The wind has been busy today out of mainly the northeast. The
average speed for the day so far is around 12mph. Gusts have
been frequently exceeding 20mph today, with a peak of 29mph
which has occurred twice, once around 4:20am and again just
after 9am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today, holding at around 70-80
miles!

The maximum temperature so far today is 61F degrees, which is
6 degrees below the normal high of 67F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 49F degrees, which is 1 degree below the normal
low of 50F.
