Strong to gale force south-southeast veering to south winds
were increasing early today and peak gusts of 63 to 72
MPH have been recorded between 7 and 8 A.M. on our various
wind systems.

in 1896. The maximum through 1 p.m. was 61 degrees.
The greatest rainfall rainfall since September 1 (2.32 inches)
is in progress and has totaled 2.04 inches (1 P.M.) since
precipitation began as some light ice pellets late Tuesday
afternoon.
A new daily rainfall record has been established but not
finalized with 2.04 inches as of early this afternoon.
