WARM FRONT DELIVERS MILD AIR AND CLOUDY SKIES TODAY AFTER
OVERNIGHT RAIN SHOWERS….

Rain showers graced the area last night and into the early morning
hours, totaling 0.22 inches. This rainfall puts us at 1.99″ for
the month which is still well under normal November. After the
showers moved through, we have been under mostly cloudy skies with
brief appearances of sunlight.

Temperatures have been well above normal with the passing of the
warm front. Our “low” for the day is 17 degrees above the normal
which surprisingly isn’t a record. (record 55F in 1979) Behind
this front has also brought much more humid air as well, and so
dew points have been in the low to mid 50’s for much of the day.
The high temperature is only a few degrees above normal, however,
with such a mild overnight period, it has felt more like a spring
day than late November.

There was a strong southerly flow during the overnight which has
since shifted to the southwest. Winds are still pretty steady but
not as gusty as yesterday. The average speed for the day so far
is around 14mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 33mph, which
occurred overnight at 3:22am.

Visibility has been impacted by the early morning rain followed
by hazy conditions. We started around 15 miles of visibility and
improved to around 30 miles by the mid morning and afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 58F degrees, which is
12 degrees above the normal high of 46F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 48F degrees, which is 17 degrees above the
normal low of 31F.
