MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0640E
SUNSET:  1619E

ABUNDANT SUNSHINE TODAY WITH MUCH LESS WIND, BUT STILL SLIGHTLY
BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES….

It’s not a bad day once again today at all thanks to plenty of
bright sunshine, moderate temperatures, and much less wind.
The sun angle is still high enough at this time of year to
make a difference as to how it feels out there.

Temperatures started the day in the mid-upper 20s, and as a
matter of fact, there was a bit of ice on the western part of
Ponkapoag Pond early this morning. Readings however have
recovered nicely into the mid 40s by early this afternoon.
Dew point values have been holding in the mid 20s again today,
which is still indicative of a polar air mass over the region.

The wind is much less of a factor today with generally light
speeds through the day. The average speed for the day so far
is around 9mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 18mph,
which occurred just after 11am this morning.

Visibility has been decent today, starting at around 80 miles
early this morning, but slipping a bit to around 70 miles for
the balance of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 44F degrees, which is
5 degrees below the normal high of 49F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 27F degrees, which is 6 degrees below the
normal low of 33F.
