We observed almost clear skies this morning with skies
becoming overcast with breaks by 1 P.M. Wind has been
light with an average speed of 5 mph or less. The peak
so far today is around 19 mph occurring very early this
morning.
Pressure is on a steady drop since noontime with the
increase in cloud cover. Visibility is good with 70
miles being seen on average. Dew points are in the
upper 20’s.
Despite below freezing overnight temperatures, Houghton’s
pond and Ponkapoag lake still have no signs of ice cover.
The high so far today is 46F, 4 degrees below the normal max
of 50F. The low since midnight is 30F, 3 degrees below the
normal low of 33F.
