RAW DAY ON THE HILL WITH FOG, DRIZZLE AND RAIN FOLLOWING
THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT

Showers and thunderstorms moved through last night with several
heavy downpours prompting a brief Flash Flood Warning being issued
by the National Weather Service for the Boston metro area. By 7:00 AM
EST this morning 0.48 inches of rain had been collected, with the majority
of the precipitation falling during some of the isolated storms late
last night.

Fog, which has reduced visibility down to 1/8 of a mile at times today, has
continued with few breaks since this morning, with an additional 0.05 inches
of drizzle falling between 7:00 and 10:00 AM EST. Drizzle transitioned to
light rain by the 1:00 PM EST observation, adding another 0.09 inches of
precipitation so far for today. Temperatures so far today have only increased
to a maximum of 48F and a minimum of 45F, which was the temperature at the
1:00 PM observation. The average high temperature for today is 70F.
