HOT, HUMID, HAZY DAY. DROUGHT CONTINUES.

Another day without rain has deepened the drought
on Great Blue Hill, with only 0.63 inches of rain
falling so far for the month of May. Showers may be
possible late in the evening, with thunderstorms possible
to our north and west; however any precipitation
is sorely needed. Below is a list of the driest
Mays on record:

Hazy conditions this morning have continued into the
afternoon. Visibility has been limited considerably
to just 20 miles in all directions due to haze.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation mostly clear but hazy
conditions were present, with some cumulus beginning
to develop from SW-NNE. A maximum of 82F had been
recorded by this time as well.
