HAZY SKIES AND SMOKE LAYER CONTINUE TO AFFECT VISIBILITY….

This morning started off with filtered sunshine due to
the Canadian wildfires. Clear skies with limited visibility
and hazy conditions remained throughout the day today.
Pressure has continued to fall during the day as well due
to the incoming cold front.

Temperatures are much warmer today, though this morning
started off cooler than average. The humidity remained around
30% for most of the afternoon.

The wind has been moderately light throughout the day, with
winds out of the SSW at around 8 mph on average.

Visibility has continuously decreased throughout the day,
starting at 60 miles early and then down to 30 miles at the 1pm
observation. This is mostly due to the smoke layer aloft
as well as the pollen.

The high temperature so far today is 74F, which is 5 degrees
above the normal high of 69F. The low since midnight is 44F,
which is 7 degrees below the normal low of 51F.
