Follow Monday’s summer-like conditions, Tuesday took the form
of an early spring day with temperatures barely reaching out
of the upper 40s. Winds stayed predominately out of the ENE
keeping a steady supply of cool maritime air in place. A brief
shower overnight left a trace of new precipitation as well.
The mercury dipped to 42F overnight, 5 degrees below the daily
norm minimum of 47F. By 1:00 PM EST the mercury had climbed to
a maximum of 70F so far with partly cloudy skies and hazy
conditions.
