MAINLY CLOUDY AND BREEZY WITH A FEW MORNING SNOW SHOWERS…

Skies have been mainly cloudy today as the pesky low near Nova
Scotia continues to move very slowly away. Spokes of moisture
continue to rotate around the circulation, bringing a lot of
cloud cover to the region. Enough moisture rotated down from
Maine this morning to spawn a brief period of snow showers.
There was no accumulation however.

The air is a bit milder today than it was yesterday. Temperatures
have warmed into the low 40s, which is where it’s supposed to be
this time of year. However with the continued breezy conditions,
wind chills are stuck in the low to mid 30s.

The wind continues to be on the gusty side. The average speed for
the day so far is around 15mph from the north-northwest. Frequent
gusts over 20mph have been occurring with a peak so far of 32mph.

Visibility has been excellent with views of around 70 miles all
day.

The high so far today is 43F, which is 1 degree above the normal
maximum of 42F. The low since midnight is 26F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal low of 24F.
