INCREASING CLOUDS IN THE AFTERNOON….
We observed a perfect visibility of 90 miles
at the 1 P.M. observation, despite significant
winds from the west of 20 mph or more. The highest
gust so far today is 40 mph. From the resultant
cold air advection, temperatures today remain well
below seasonal averages. The high temperature so far
today is 24F, 17 degrees below the daily maximum of 41F.
The low since midnight is 10F, 13 degrees below the
normal minimum of 23F. Cloud cover this morning was
almost clear, but increased following noontime. Dew
points have been in the negative single digits, with
a lowest humidity seen so far of 33%.
