MILD AND DRY ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
We observed fog this morning, but it dissipated very quickly
before the 7 A.M. observation. Visibility was decent today
at 65 miles on average, but it was slightly obscured by a
smoke layer. Mild weather in the region continues to exist
despite overcast skies, since there was a warm breeze from
the southeast.
Dry conditions continue to be an issue, so a fire risk persists.
The wind is calmer today, with a max gust of around
17 mph. The monthly precipitation departure
stands at -3.16″ and the yearly departure is -3.58″.
The high so far today is 62F, which is 15 degrees above the
normal high of 47F. The low since midnight is 44F, which
is 15 degrees above the daily normal low of 29F.
