MUCH MILDER UNDER MAINLY SUNNY SKIES AND A LIGHT BREEZE….
A patch of clouds moved through early to mid morning, but
has since moved out leaving us with abundant sunshine into
this afternoon.
The arctic air mass is now gone and much milder air has
returned to the area. Temperatures have reached the upper
40s through early this afternoon.
The wind is once again on the light side today, just adding
to the “warmer” feel compared to the last couple of days.
The average speed since 7 A.M. is only around 8 mph.
The other big story of the month is the continuing dry
conditions. The monthly total stands at 0.14″, which is
2.63″ below normal. The yearly total is 8.14″ which is 3.05″
below normal to date. Perhaps we’ll be able to put a little
dent into the deficit tomorrow night into Friday.
The high so far today is 49F, which is 5 degrees above the
normal high of 44F. The low since midnight is 27F, which
is equal to the daily normal low of 27F.
