Nearly negligible cloud cover this morning became almost
overcast this afternoon following a pressure drop of 2 mb
since the 10 A.M. observation. Winds were light and variable
throughout the observation period, with a max gust of 12 mph
shortly before 1 P.M. A visibility of 70 miles was seen all
day, despite a thin smoke layer in the distance. Our snow
depth this morning was 4 ins., and 3 ins. this afternoon.
The high so far today is 42F, a degree under the daily
normal maximum of 43F. The low since midnight is 24F,
two degrees below the normal minimum of 26F.
