FILTERED SUNSHINE TODAY WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES AND LESS WIND….

Skies have featured plenty of filtered sunshine as high thin cirrus
have been covering the sky with varying amounts of coverage through
the day.

Temperatures are cooler than yesterday with readings much closer to
seasonal values in the mid to upper 40s. The dew point has taken a
bit of a tumble with values dipping down into the teens by the mid
morning hours. So the air is very dry and feels much chillier than
yesterday.

Winds are finally down to tolerable levels today. A cold front
pushed through very early this morning turning the wind from west-
southwest to northerly. They have since become onshore by early
this afternoon. The average speed for the day so far is around
11mph. The peak gust for the day occurred just before 8am this
morning with a value of 29mph.

Visibility has exceptional all day with a view of 80 miles!

The maximum temperature for today is 48F degrees, which is 5 degrees
above the normal high of 43F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 38F degrees, which is 12 degrees above the normal low of 26F.
