A CLOUDY START WITH A FAIR WEATHER AFTERNOON….
Today began cloudy and foggy following rain earlier on this
morning. We received 0.44 inches, bringing our monthly deficit
to a half inch and our annual deficit to 5.57 inches. Wind was
southwesterly and was 10 mph on average with a max gust of 41 mph
earlier this morning.
The sky started clearing out significantly around the 10 A.M.
observation, leaving us with few clouds for the rest of the
day. Weather conditions look amazing as we enter the
afternoon hours and the air becomes less humid.
Visibility was limited this morning by fog. We were able to
see only a 1/2 mile early on, but it has since increased to
around 60 miles by the 1 P.M. observation.
The high so far today is 77F, which is 4 degrees above the
normal maximum of 73F. The low since midnight is 60F, which
5 degrees above the normal minimum of 55F.
