CLOUDY SKIES, CONTINUED VISIBILITY IMPACTED BY CANADIAN
WILDFIRES…

This morning started off with sunshine but very limited visibility
due to the smoke aloft from the Canadian wildfires. As the day
progressed, visibility slowly increased to about 40 miles despite
increased cloudiness in the area.

Temperatures remained below average today, with a high at the last
observation of only 61F. The dew point remained steady in the upper
40s with relative humidity in the upper 50s to low 60s. A very
comfortable and breezy day on Great Blue Hill!

The wind has been generally out of the northwest to west-
northwest again today with an average speed around 12mph. The peak
gust so far has been around 31mph.

The high temperature so far today is 61F, this is 12 degrees
below the normal maximum of 73F. The low since midnight is 50F,
this is 5 degrees below the normal minimum of 55F.
